Early access planning – we’re getting closer
Hey adventurers!
We’ve got news to share from behind the scenes of Eldria. Development has been progressing steadily, and while there’s still a long road ahead, we’re thrilled with how things are shaping up.
We’re working hard behind the scenes
Our small (but mighty!) team has been pouring countless hours into the foundations of the game. From authentication mechanisms to the color palettes of various biomes, lore, and ideas for future quest flows — we’ve tried to make sure every piece of the puzzle fits. It's a labor of love, and we’re genuinely excited about what’s coming together.
Basic gameplay is up and running
We’re building the game in Unity, which in combination with leaning upon the work of open source developers, has allowed us to move quickly. Right now, the core gameplay loop is already working: you can explore, fight monsters, level up, PvP and interact with other players in a shared world.
Combat feels snappy, exploration is satisfying, and we're already dropping in-game hints of the rich lore we want to weave into the game world. The heart of the game is beating.
Thinking about early access (and how to do it right)
We’re now starting to look toward an early access release. The big question for us is: how do we do this in a way that brings in the community and keeps things fun, while still allowing us to build and improve?
We want early access to feel like an adventure — not just a tech demo. That means finding the right balance between stability and experimentation. We want to give pla meaningful content but still be able to make drastic changes.
