  • What is Eldria?

    Eldria is a free-to-play top-down pixel art 2D MMORPG for players who love open-world exploration, progression, and PvP.

    While the aim is for the game to be accessible for all, only the most dedicated players will rise to the top of the realm. There will be no easy-mode.

    You enter the world in a time of escalating conflict, as the powerful religious order of Calodan is being challenged by an uprising in the east. Citizens all over the realm are picking sides and tensions are rising. You, too, will have to make difficult choices.

  • How can I join a playtest?
    for invitations to future playtests. Access is by invitation while Eldria is in development. Visit Playtests & early access for details.
  • When will Eldria be released?
    A release date has not been announced. We’re running playtests to help shape the game as development continues.
  • Does it cost anything to play?
    No, Eldria is absolutely free to play. We will evaluate options for players to support the development of the game.
  • Which platforms are supported?
    The initial early access release is planned for Windows and macOS. We aim to provide clients for both iOS and Android at a later point.
  • Who are you?

    We are a couple of childhood friends that grew up playing simple top-down MMORPGs, and are excited to make our mark on this genre with our passion project Eldria.

    That said, this game is an evolution of - and exists only thanks to - the wonderful open source contributions of developers like Ahmed Alaa, Caio Vidal, Marcus Silva, Felipe Muniz and many more who have contributed to OpenTibia, the engine upon which Eldria is built.
